solution our proposal was to expand the resort to the south, along the water line facing the sunset. outcome the new rooms were inspired by the existing accommodations, but with an increase in the size of the room and different finishes; four new family-room accommodations were also designed and built; the main building was rebuilt from scratch with a new roof solution and new staff sleeping and dining facilities. materials the main materials were kept the same from the existing buildings, including the traditional “mujaca” roof (coconut tree leaves) in a pine structure, gypsum ceilings and concrete floor steel floated to a smooth finish; a natural gas distribution system was installed to be used in the room geysers. collaboration clape consutoria e serviços
